I applied on 1st of March this year 2021, which was 7 months ago here in Bayern. I just got an invitation from them this month October to come over for a Safety survey questions. At the time i went to apply, i met a guy there who just received his German citizenship, which according to him was applied for last year 2020. He told me his took approximately a year. If i remember correctly at the time I applied for mine, they told me that it can take up to 9 months to a year.
